Frequently asked questions
-
Absolutely – we love it!
We truly enjoy involving multiple generations in our portrait sessions and actually encourage it, especially when young children are part of the shoot. Grandparents not only offer a helping hand, but it’s also a wonderful opportunity to capture some long-overdue, updated portraits of them too.
-
Yes – depending on the location!
Many of our session locations are pet-friendly, and we’re happy to welcome your furry family members when possible. However, please note that we are not specialist pet photographers. We kindly ask that you bring a friend or family member along to help manage your pet when they’re not being photographed or need a break.
Keep in mind that not all pets are well-suited to portrait sessions, so be sure to discuss this with your photographer in advance.

Clothing and styling are something that we always discuss in our pre-consultations. We usually recommend keeping it simple and picking a colour pallet that everyone can easily follow helping to keep everyone unified in the photos.
For our maternity clients we also have a large wardrobe of maternity dresses which are available for you to try on and use for your session. -
Maternity photos are best taken between 32-38 weeks, this is when your bump should be at its most pronounced but is before things are becoming overly awkward or hard.
-
Newborn sessions are generally taken around 2 weeks of age, when the baby is most sleepy and easy to work with. As newborn photo sessions need to be booked in advanced, we recommend booking your newborn session 10 days after your expected due date.
Babies are still technically newborns until they reach 3 months of age, so if your newborn is older than two weeks and you still want photos taken we can defiantly still get you in for a shoot. Just expect a more alert and active baby in your session.
If have a booking with us and your baby arrives early, get in touch with us and we will do our best to reschedule you to an earlier session. -
Yes! We 100% encourage the involvement of both your partner and any older children you have. Welcoming a new baby into your family is important and special for everyone, hence everyone is welcome to join in.
